Manuscript collections may contain a variety of materials, including letters, reports, diaries, property records, legal and financial documents, genealogical research, photographs and other images, electronic and digital media, and ephemera. The staff of the Stewart Bell Jr. Archives have created inventories for manuscript collections to provide researchers with information about the contents of each collection, biographical and historical information, and the dates covered by the materials.
Inventories are indexed alphabetically by collection title. For questions about our manuscript collections, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Inventories may also be searched by subject in the Handley Regional Library's online catalog.
The Stewart Bell Jr. Archives frequently receives donations of historic materials, genealogical sources, photographs and other items relevant to the history of the Lower Shenandoah Valley.
