We are excited to announce Storytime Grab-and-Go Kits designed for kids 6 and under. The interactive kits include extension activities that go with library storytime themes packed with extra rhymes, songs, stories, and craft ideas. New kits are released every week and supplies are limited with 1-kit per family each week with curbside pick-up via appointment.

If you and your family are wanting to read more diverse books with a central theme around Social Justice Education, then look no further than your local public library! We've compiled a list of books for Elementary, Middle School, and High School readers. You can find these books in our library catalog here and/or in our digital library in Hoopla here. All you need is a library card!

May is Asian Pacific American Heritage month!! The Handley Regional Library Youth Services Department is celebrating this month by sharing a list of titles that are either written by an individual or featuring a character of Asian Pacific American Heritage. More titles and authors can be found by searching the library catalog using the search term #youthasianpacific.

Every year, events are held nationwide at schools, libraries, bookstores, homes—wherever young readers and books connect! Children’s Book Week is not only a celebration of books, but of connection.
