Back to School Help from Your Local Library
We want you to know that Handley Regional Library System is HERE for you this Back to School season. Whether your child is homeschooling or attending public or private school and even college, we can help. Are you an educator wanting to make the most of the digital content you are sharing with your students? Are you a caregiver that is new to assisting with at-home instruction? Or, are you a student that is anxious about this new school year? Our librarians have compiled the best library resources to support your Back to School journey.
- Need WiFi at home? Borrow a T-Mobile hotspot to get a week’s worth of free, unlimited internet service! Need to access the library as well? Come use our WiFi at all three locations.
- Need to use a computer or print a document? We can help you there, too. Or you can send your document from the PrintMe app at home, and we’ll have it ready for you to pick up at the library, for much cheaper than a print shop. Learn about PrintMe here.
Resources In Our 24/7 Digital Library
We have the latest resources for learning at home and a huge digital library to explore. Students can access databases that support both student research and classroom instruction. Some databases also assist in educator lesson planning!
- Universal Class offers more than 500 online courses, from photography to physics, computers to calligraphy.
- You can even learn a new language with Mango Languages. Your library card grants you full access to their complete collection of more than 70 languages from Spanish to Mandarin and Hebrew to Scottish Gaelic. We have you covered!
