Taking care of yourself physically and mentally makes all the difference. Learn about self-care techniques to lead to a happier, healthier version of yourself. Sessions will be led by special guest Denyse Phelps of Flowering Dogwood Mind and Wellness.
This week's topic - Anxiety Relief Strategies for Teens: Soothing Your Mind, Body, & Soul
How do you recognize the onset of anxiety? What do you do when you feel your anxiety taking over? In this session, we’ll work on some strategies for handling anxiety. We will practice breathing, tapping, and counting techniques, make a stress ball, and learn some other simple strategies for stressful moments.
Ages 12-18. *Registration required.
