Program Description

Event Details

The America 250 Book Circle brings readers together to immerse themselves in the history of our country’s founding. Through shared reading and lively conversations, we explore books that illuminate the challenges, triumphs, and vision of the early American experience.

This month's selection will be Give Me Liberty: Virginia and the Forging of a Nation. Published by the Virginia Museum of History and Culture, this new work brings together essays by leading scholars of the period and is meant to accompany their exhibit by the same name.  Additionally, the traveling exhibit is scheduled to be at Belle Grove from April – June 2026.
