Partnership Spotlight: Job Help with NW Works

Posted on:

Searching for a job is like a job in and of itself. It is time-consuming, challenging, and – in this age of digital technology – can be quite complicated. But the Handley library is here to help. We have partnered with NW Works to bring one-on-one job seeker assistance to anyone who needs it – no registration, no library card required. Anyone can use this fantastic, free resource!

Who is this lovely person, you ask? Meet Tina Maseda! Tina is a representative from NW Works, whose mission is to bridge the employment gap for anyone facing barriers to meaningful employment. Tina will meet with you, one-on-one. She’ll get to know you, your strengths, and your employment goals. She will provide assistance in the areas where you need help. She will even email and/or text you job opportunities that she thinks might be a good fit for you. How amazing is that? Basically, Tina is ready to become your partner in employment and empowerment.

Tina is at the Handley Library every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month, from 11:00am to 12:00pm. No appointment necessary!
