Hooks and needles and fiber, oh my!

Join us for a chat and playdate with La Leche League NSV! These leaders are parent volunteers, educated and accredited by La Leche League International to provide FREE, inclusive, evidence based, community lactation and parenting support.
An event for parents and students of the homeschool co-op group SAIL to play strategy games and challenge each other to greater exploration and play.
Volunteers will be on hand to collect your gently used books (in good, clean condition), DVDs, music CDs, audiobooks on CD and electronic games in the Bowman Library parking lot.
Chess enthusiasts come and play! Play chess to learn or strengthen your skills.
Players of all ages and strengths are welcome to come and play. Ages 6-Adult

Storytime Break at the Handley Branch
A few times a year the children’s department goes on a storytime break. But what does that mean for you? It means every April, August, and December we pause our daily storytimes to prepare for the upcoming season. Fear not, there are still plenty of things to do at the library during a storytime break!
Each week, we will have a different themed playtime experience set up for you and your littles to explore during the usual storytime timeframe! Everything from gross motor play to music and art exploration. See the list of themes by week below:
