Looking for something to keep your family entertained during the holidays? Check out our digital media collections like our DVDs and Audiobooks! We recently removed the check-out limit on all of our DVDs (kids and adults), so browse to your heart’s desire. The new limit is the same as books– 100 per card. Juvenile DVDs include a wide variety of titles like your favorite Disney movies, educational documentaries, TV show collections, and more. Find them out at the library on the 2nd floor or search the collection here.
If you have a long car ride coming up, consider checking out our Audiobooks! This collection comes in CD format, perfect for popping in the car radio. With series like The Magic Treehouse, Harry Potter, Wings of Fire, and more, you’ll never get bored! Browse this collection online here. Don’t have a CD player? Lastly, we’ve increased the check-out limit on Read-Alongs from five items to ten! Our Read-Alongs come in many formats: picture books, non-fiction, chapter books, Spanish, Mandarin, and more! These books are great for kids that are fans of storytime, working on their phonics skills, or trying to read more independently. Find classic childhood books or your new favorites in Read-Along format here.
As a reminder, the library closes early at 5pm on Wednesday, November 26th and is completely closed on Thursday and Friday, the 27th and 28th. Make sure to stop by before we close, and if you don’t, we do reopen on Saturday the 29th from 10am to 5pm.
