SCOPE AND CONTENT: The Capon Supply Company Records includes a store ledger and an account book belonging to Capon Supply Company of Hampshire County, Virginia, from 1908-1920.

BIOGRAPHICAL/HISTORICAL: The Capon Springs Supply Company was a general supply company that operated in the resort town of Capon Springs, West Virginia in the early twentieth century. The proprietors of the business were D.B. Haines, L.C. Haines, A.C. Lovett, and A.J. Oates.
