SCOPE AND CONTENT: The Clarke L. Cornwell Collection contains a family Bible belonging to Randolph H. Cornwall and Nannie V. Stewart, who married in December 1877. The Bible records provide information about the couple’s children. The collection also includes photographs of tombstones of members of the Gardiner, Clark, Buckley, and Cornwell families.

BIOGRAPHICAL/HISTORICAL: The Cornwell family lived in Frederick County, Virginia.
