SCOPE AND CONTENT: The Kent Barley Collection contains a variety of items associated with the Barley family and its allied families. Included are correspondence, funeral programs, receipts, wedding invitations, and other items covering a period from 1808 to 1982.

BIOGRAPHICAL/HISTORICAL: Beginning with Adam Barley Sr., the Barley Family has lived and farmed in the Stephens City area since the early 1800s.
