SCOPE AND CONTENT:  This collection is comprised of account books, school notes, and photo albums of the Bond Family of Frederick County, Virginia.

BIOGRAPHICAL/HISTORICAL: : Walker Bond was born in Frederick County, VA in 1875. He gained a civil engineering degree from Swathmore College and was a farmer and orchardist. He was chair and president of multiple local boards. He married twice but had no children. Bond died in 1957.
