Scope And Content: This collection contains information about the Brucetown United Methodist Church, including bulletins, registers, Sunday school roll books, histories and membership, covering 1850 to 2008. 

Biographical/Historical: Known records confirm a Methodist Church in Brucetown, VA, in 1852. Gravestones adjoining the church cemetery date from 1822. The cornerstone for the present church was laid on October 10, 1874. The church is located on the north side of State Rt. 672 in northern Frederick County, VA.
