Welcome to Play and Explore! 

Join us as we get creative!  At Creation Station, we will learn, start, and take a crafting skill from the library which you can use at home.

Registration required and is for ages 6-11.

Join us for our evening Book Club at 6 pm on the first Thursday of the month at Clarke County Library!

Looking for a more low-key version of Teen Game Night? Join us in playing board games, including HeroQuest, and card games, including the strategic card game Magic: the Gathering!

Hooks and needles and fiber, oh my!

Enjoy unstructured playtime with your baby as we bring out soft blocks and colorful balls. The babies can explore while the adults chat, and everyone will have a chance to make a new friend.   For ages 0-2 years.

Join us for a chat and playdate with La Leche League NSV! These leaders are parent volunteers, educated and accredited by La Leche League International to provide FREE, inclusive, evidence based, community lactation and parenting support.

Volunteers will be on hand to collect your gently used books (in good, clean condition), DVDs, music CDs, audiobooks on CD and electronic games in the Bowman Library parking lot. 

Chess enthusiasts come and play! Play chess to learn or strengthen your skills.
Players of all ages and strengths are welcome to come and play. Ages 6-Adult

Welcome to Storytime & Puppets! 

Enjoy a program perfect for preschoolers to learn through stories, rhymes, movement, and song. (Best for ages 3 & up)

Join Delsie McCoy, a Certified Health Coach from Valley Health,  for a presentation and discussion around menopause.  

Grow your reader at the library! This 6-week interactive playgroup will feature educational components with outside professionals each week that will developmentally support your reader through learning and play.

Come to the Clarke County Library Children's Room for stories and fun! Miss Bonnie will share a new adventure with early readers and their families each week. All are welcome!
