Important Announcement: Bowman Library Renovations

Bowman Library will be installing new carpeting from January 12–23. During this time, some services will be limited:

  • Printing will be limited
  • Only laptop computers will be available
  • Study rooms will be unavailable
  • Access to many adult materials will be limited
  • Faxing and scanning will be unavailable

These services will still be available at both Handley Library and Clarke County branches.

The stitch-ins are open to anyone who loves stitching! All skill levels are welcome – come stitch, chat, and be inspired. Bring your stitching project and connect with fellow embroidery enthusiasts in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. This is the perfect place to share tips, tricks, and time-honored techniques with like-minded creatives.

If you've always wanted to learn how to stitch but didn’t know where to start, this is a great opportunity! Members of the Winchester Chapter of the Embroiderers’ Guild of America will be on hand to guide you, answer questions, and help you fall in love with the art of stitching.
