Important Announcement: Bowman Library Renovations

Bowman Library will be installing new carpeting from January 12–23. During this time, some services will be limited:

  • Printing will be limited
  • Only laptop computers will be available
  • Study rooms will be unavailable
  • Access to many adult materials will be limited
  • Faxing and scanning will be unavailable

These services will still be available at both Handley Library and Clarke County branches.

Housing Case Manager, Sawyer Fulminata, will be at Handley every Monday in order to help with housing resources, such as:

  • Rapid Rehousing
  • Homeless Prevention
  • Tenant Based Rental Assistance (TBRA)
  • HOPWA (Housing Opportunities for Persons with HIV/AIDS).

Homelessness and lack of affordable housing is evident within our community today. As a result of the housing needs in the community, ARE has expanded its services to reach the general community by offering housing programs.
