Important Announcement: Bowman Library Renovations

Bowman Library will be installing new carpeting from January 12–23. During this time, some services will be limited:

  • Printing will be limited
  • Only laptop computers will be available
  • Study rooms will be unavailable
  • Access to many adult materials will be limited
  • Faxing and scanning will be unavailable

These services will still be available at both Handley Library and Clarke County branches.

Preparing for college life is exciting, but it can also be overwhelming and a little bit scary. Get advice from the experts, college students who have just lived through it, about the do’s and don’ts of your freshman year.

With freedom can come danger. More than anything else your loved ones want for you when you go off to college, is for you to be safe. Learn some safety tips and tricks to help set their minds at ease, but more importantly, keep you and your friends out of harm’s way.
