Important Announcement: Bowman Library Renovations

Bowman Library will be installing new carpeting from January 12–23. During this time, some services will be limited:

  • Printing will be limited
  • Only laptop computers will be available
  • Study rooms will be unavailable
  • Access to many adult materials will be limited
  • Faxing and scanning will be unavailable

These services will still be available at both Handley Library and Clarke County branches.

1000 Books before Kindergarten Celebration at Bowman Library

Today we celebrate the success of our participants in the 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program. These graduates and their families took the challenge to read/listen to 1000 books! We celebrate their accomplishments with their families and friends. Join us for the ceremony at Bowman Library!

Graduates will be recognized by name, receive certificates and wear home a Super Reader cape.

The whole family can enjoy stories, songs, and movement activities that support early literacy skill development.

The youth puppeteer troupe leads in story sharing, dancing and singing songs.

Free for all!
