Handley Regional Library System announces the following weekly updates and programs to the community:
Back to School Help from Your Local Library
This year’s Back to School Season looks substantially different for countless families. We want you to know that Handley Regional Library System is HERE for you. Whether your child is homeschooling or attending public or private school and even college, we can help. The library system has launched a webpage and a video at www.handleyregional.org/backtoschool to show the featured and most-requested services for students, teachers, and families including research and homework help, talking points for adults as they navigate the COVID-19 epidemic with children, remote printing, T-Mobile hotspot devices for free internet at home, ways to access eBooks for virtual learning, and more
Constitution Week Display from the Stewart Bell Jr. Archives
The Daughters of the American Revolution partnered with Handley Library to create a display on Constitution Week and the right to vote. The display is at the Handley Library just inside the main entrance.
The Show Must Go On! Alamo Drafthouse Winchester Film Club Continues DVD Donations
Originally shown in the local theater for their members, the Alamo Film Club over the years has donated more than 700 DVDs that library patrons can now enjoy at home at their leisure, of course, free of charge! Watch the video from Andy Gyurisin here or read our blog for more information.
