A Little Noon Music at ALL 3 BRANCHES!!!

The Friends of the Handley Regional Library presents a new season of A Little Noon Music. Every second Friday at noon, a variety of musicians delight audience members with their talents. The 2023/24 season has concerts at all three branches in our library system!

Vincent Muscarella: Friday, September 8 at 12pm at Bowman Library

In September at Bowman Library, enjoy the sounds of classical guitarist Vincent Muscarella. Vincent performs along the east coast of the United States and in Canada as a soloist, chamber musician, and ensemble member. He has performed at notable venues and festivals including the DiMenna Center for Classical Music, Port Washington Theater, Long Island Guitar Festival, Tilles Center for the Performing Arts, Kaplan Concert Hall, the Philippines Consulate in NYC, The Bruce Museum in Greenwich, CT, and the Midsummer Dream Music Festival in Quebec.

"Bookish Songs" with Kate MacLeod: Friday, October 13 at 12pm at Handley Library

In October at Handley Library, Neo-Traditionalist, fiddler, and songwriter Kate MacLeod shares some of her book-inspired songs that were first published on her full-length recording At Ken Sanders Rare Books. As stated by SingOut! Magazine, Kate "channels the spirit of the great Carter Family classics,” bringing music to you through her original songs, fiddle instrumentals, and creative renditions of traditional and popular music.

"Veterans Day" with SU Jazz: Friday, November 10 at 12pm at Bowman Library

In November at Bowman Library, Shenandoah University Jazz will perform songs to celebrate Veterans Day!

"Holiday Music" with SU Jazz: Friday, December 8 at 12pm at Handley Library

In December at Handley Library, Shenandoah University Jazz will perform holiday songs to celebrate the season!
