Important Announcement: Bowman Library Renovations

Bowman Library will be installing new carpeting from January 12–23. During this time, some services will be limited:

  • Printing will be limited
  • Only laptop computers will be available
  • Study rooms will be unavailable
  • Access to many adult materials will be limited
  • Faxing and scanning will be unavailable

These services will still be available at both Handley Library and Clarke County branches.

Game Pin for Star Wars Trivia

Are you ready to prove your Star Wars knowledge and be named the wisest in all the galaxies?  Come celebrate May the 4th with a virtual trivia contest for all ages.  Questions will be covering the 3 trilogy movies. 

For our trivia event, we will be using Facebook Live to stream the trivia questions while you answer using Kahoot.it which will keep track of scores and podium leaders.  This will lead to an out of this world interactive experience as you will be able to see and hear everything at the same time with all the other participants leading to an even more competitive game and environment. 

As you play, Kahoot can either be played on a phone, tablet, or computer.  If you do not have more than one device, a computer is preferred as you can then split the screen or have two tabs--one for viewing and one for Kahoot.  We will start streaming live at 10:45 with the Game Pin for our Kahoot game; we will start the game promptly at 11:00.
