Program Description

Event Details

Learning to research collateral family lines is a good tool to have in your genealogical toolbox. Shaking some twigs and branches on the family tree can produce genealogical fruit that you might not expect. It will help to breach some brick walls and give you a richer understanding of your family history.

Joan Wood has worked for the archives for nine years and has been a genealogist for over thirty years; navigating the ins and outs of family research. She has often lectured on Beginning Genealogy but now will help patrons dig a little deeper.

This program is free and open to the public.
