Caregivers of children in Winchester City, Frederick, and Clarke Counties can now sign up for Lantern at no cost through Handley Regional Library System!
Lantern is a research-based text messaging system for caregivers of children Birth-8 years old. Each week, you'll receive 2 to 4 free text messages per week with conversation starters, bonding activities, games to boost brain development, social-emotional development tips, and much more, all tailored to your child's age and developmental stage. Available in English and Spanish, this service also includes resources available right here in Winchester.
With fun facts and easy tips, learning can continue from the home to the classroom and back again. Add these facts, tips, and growth messages into your daily family routine to increase healthy learning and development.
