Important Announcement: Bowman Library Renovations

Bowman Library will be installing new carpeting from January 12–23. During this time, some services will be limited:

  • Printing will be limited
  • Only laptop computers will be available
  • Study rooms will be unavailable
  • Access to many adult materials will be limited
  • Faxing and scanning will be unavailable

These services will still be available at both Handley Library and Clarke County branches.

Event Details

The Genealogy Lunch Bunch is great way to meet new and experienced family history researchers. Please join us if you are looking for help with your family's genealogy or would like to share your successes. The event is sponsored by the Stewart Bell Jr. Archives and hosted by genealogy specialist, Joan Wood. Feel free to bring lunch! 

The lunch bunch will meet in person in the Benham Gallery of the Handley Library in downtown Winchester. If you cannot make the in-person meeting we will have an option for you to join us by Zoom. A link to the Zoom meeting will be sent the day before the event.
