Poet Randina Sheldon, author of the new book, Face: a poetry and art collection, will be sharing her story of abuse, trauma and healing. She will be performing several pieces from her book and answering any and all questions about the book, overcoming abuse, and learning your worth.

Randina will be signing and selling copies of her book, where a portion of the sales will benefit The Laurel center.

Books are $15. Cash + card will be accepted.The Laurel Center is a local organization known for Empowering those affected by domestic and sexual violence. They provide emergency housing, advocacy, outreach, support services, education and awareness. They will be set up for the duration of the event and available to anyone with questions or in need of resources or assistance.

About the Poet: Randina Sheldon is a refreshingly honest writer and artist who leaves a little bit of her heart on every page. With deep vulnerability, she advocates for the voiceless and represents the hope that we can always rise beyond anything that tries to bind us. She is a die-hard cat lady, part flower, and has a laugh that can move mountains.

It is recommended that masks be worn at this event.
