Bowman Library will be installing new carpeting from January 12–23. During this time, some services will be limited:

  • Printing will be limited
  • Only laptop computers will be available
  • Study rooms will be unavailable
  • Access to many adult materials will be limited
  • Faxing and scanning will be unavailable

These services will still be available at both Handley Library and Clarke County branches.

1455’s Author Series continues with Jeanne McCulloch, who will read from her memoir All Happy Families. Jeanne is a former managing editor of The Paris Review, senior editor of Tin House, and the founding Editorial Director of Tin House Books. She is the co-founder of the  Todos Santos Writers Workshop, and her work has appeared in The Paris Review, Tin House, The New York Times Book Review, Vogue, O Magazine, Allure, and The Northwestern Review.  

1455’s Founding Director Sean Murphy and the author will discuss the process of writing this book and the contemporary literary scene.
