Join us for a presentation to introduce the Library's newest online resource through the Library of Virginia, Virginia Writes!

Virginia Writes includes three tools that allow users to create, share, and discover eBook content:

  • Create through a digital self-publishing tool that allows authors to format, design, and create professional-quality print-ready and eBook files. (Pressbooks Public)
  • Share your writing across the region, with the opportunity to be selected for Indie Author Select, a curated collection chosen by Library Journal and library editorial boards across the U.S. and Canada (Indie Author Project (IAP))
  • Discover platform featuring self-published eBooks from Virginia authors, available on the web or through the BiblioBoard app with unlimited simultaneous use (BiblioBoard Library)

This presentation is for anyone who is interested in sharing their writing and anyone interested in finding out more about how to read work from local Virginia authors.
