Bowman Library will be installing new carpeting from January 12–23. During this time, some services will be limited:

  • Printing will be limited
  • Only laptop computers will be available
  • Study rooms will be unavailable
  • Access to many adult materials will be limited
  • Faxing and scanning will be unavailable

These services will still be available at both Handley Library and Clarke County branches.

Celebrate the release of Ben Hatke's latest graphic novel for young readers! Come dressed in your Halloween costume and travel down the spiral staircase to the basement at Handley Library to hear the author share stories and more. As Ben's fellow artists and cartoonists Jerzy Drozd, Zack Giallongo, Landis Blair and Tom Angleberger join him onstage, be prepared for anything to happen! Winchester Book Gallery will be on hand selling Things in the Basement and other favorites for Ben and friends to sign.
