Important Announcement: Bowman Library Renovations

Bowman Library will be installing new carpeting from January 12–23. During this time, some services will be limited:

  • Printing will be limited
  • Only laptop computers will be available
  • Study rooms will be unavailable
  • Access to many adult materials will be limited
  • Faxing and scanning will be unavailable

These services will still be available at both Handley Library and Clarke County branches.

Spring Used Book Sale-First Day!

Event Details

Prices will range from $1-$3, with some special items costing $5 or more. Many items are sorted into categories for shoppers to look through and there will be children's books, DVDs & CDs, fiction, and paperback books. Stock is replenished each day, you never know what you will find!

  • Patrons may enter and exit the sale through the back exterior emergency exit door of the Bowman Meeting Room leading to the parking lot (look for the "Used Book Sale Today" sign and red feather flag)
  • Payment is by cash, credit card, or check.  
  • Bring a box or bag to carry your treasures.
  • Please, no book donations at the sale.
