Important Announcement: Bowman Library Renovations

Bowman Library will be installing new carpeting from January 12–23. During this time, some services will be limited:

  • Printing will be limited
  • Only laptop computers will be available
  • Study rooms will be unavailable
  • Access to many adult materials will be limited
  • Faxing and scanning will be unavailable

These services will still be available at both Handley Library and Clarke County branches.

Learn, play, and grow with your library! Explore the natural world through the library’s Grow a Reader Initiative where we will be launching a new Activity Program that focuses on school-readiness skills. Enjoy hands-on garden activities and flowery fun because at the library, learning sprouts here! Special activities include fun with:

  • Face painting
  • Master Gardeners NSV
  • NSV Audubon Society
  • Sky Meadows State Park

Registration is not required for this event, but will be required if your 0-5 age child wants to participate in the Read and Seed Activity Program. Learn more about here!
