Important Announcement: Bowman Library Renovations

Bowman Library will be installing new carpeting from January 12–23. During this time, some services will be limited:

  • Printing will be limited
  • Only laptop computers will be available
  • Study rooms will be unavailable
  • Access to many adult materials will be limited
  • Faxing and scanning will be unavailable

These services will still be available at both Handley Library and Clarke County branches.

Are you ready for a FUN challenge? Come be a part of Bowman Library's next Jigsaw Puzzle Tournament!

Teams of 2-4 people compete to finish the same 1000 piece puzzle. The team that finishes in the least amount of time gets a medal and all the bragging rights!

Here is how it works:

  1. Form a team of 2-4 players. Each team must include at least one adult.
  2. Only one person needs to make the reservation for your team.
  3. Create a team name! 
  4. Registration opens on May 25, 2024. You can register online, in person, or by phone at 540-869-9000 ext. 203 to register with a staff person. Space is limited to 10 teams, so register early!
  5.  Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the event to get any last-minute instructions.
  6. If you need to cancel your registration, please contact us to allow space for other teams from the waiting list.

We are overloaded with puzzles from previous tournaments and our generous patrons donating for our ongoing puzzle table. We will have many puzzles for participants to pick from, no swap necessary.
