Page to Stage at Handley Library Where stories leap off the page.
A partnership between Selah Theatre Project and the Handley Library branch, this series brings literature to life through readings, adaptations, and interactive performances. Audiences engage directly with the joy of books reimagined through live theatre.

As we prepare for our next chapter, Selah Theatre Project is embracing a season that moves beyond traditional walls. We believe theatre should meet people where they are - whether in a cozy living room, a bustling coffeehouse, a historic library, or a reimagined ballroom. By bringing unapologetic theatre into unconventional spaces, we invite our community to experience art that is bold, immediate, and unafraid to spark conversation. This roaming season reflects our belief that art is not bound by a stage, but thrives wherever people gather to listen, imagine, and connect.

Page to Stage: Sorry, Wrong Number by Lucille Fletcher (Oct 30), A mystery thriller, the tale of a neurotic invalid, whose only contact with the outside world is her phone. Over this, one night, because of a crossed wire, she hears plans for a murder, which turns out to be her own. Her frantic efforts to enlist help through the only means at her disposal, her growing terror and realization of the truth, and (along the way) the hints about her own life and personality she lets drop, make this a full character portrait not only of herself but of the unseen murderer, whose identity and motivations are surmised but never revealed.
