Bowman Library will be installing new carpeting from January 12–23. During this time, some services will be limited:

  • Printing will be limited
  • Only laptop computers will be available
  • Study rooms will be unavailable
  • Access to many adult materials will be limited
  • Faxing and scanning will be unavailable

These services will still be available at both Handley Library and Clarke County branches.

The Sing! Shenandoah chorus is chartered by Sweet Adelines International. It is part of Region 19 which includes all chapters in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Virginia. There are 27 chartered choruses in Region 19, and more than 500 Sweet Adelines chapters located throughout the U.S. and 14 other nations.

Sweet Adelines International is a worldwide organization of women singers committed to advancing the musical art form of four-part a cappella harmony through education and performances. This independent, nonprofit music education association is one of the world’s largest singing organizations for women. “Harmonize the World” is the organization’s motto.

Our chorus presently has 25 members from Winchester, Martinsburg, Charles Town, Berryville, Front Royal and other nearby towns. The singers come from all walks of life. They are nurses, teachers, homemakers, and businesswomen who share a love of music.
