Program Description

Event Details

Join local poet, John Berry, for an afternoon of poetry and story-telling as he
performs his latest work, The Broken Poem and Other Strange Ideas About
God.

These enchanting poems tell mythic, humorous, and thought-provoking
tales, and explore a world which John likes to think of as a meeting place
between Winnie-the-Pooh and the Bhagavad Gita. Discover Light, and let
Gravity show you around the Forevers in his mysterious Black Hat of
Future Labors. Experience Darkness and Silence in ways you never
imagined. Acquaint yourself with the otherness of Beauty, and maybe, just
maybe, discover some beautiful, and strange new ideas about God.
