Important Announcement: Bowman Library Renovations

Bowman Library will be installing new carpeting from January 12–23. During this time, some services will be limited:

  • Printing will be limited
  • Only laptop computers will be available
  • Study rooms will be unavailable
  • Access to many adult materials will be limited
  • Faxing and scanning will be unavailable

These services will still be available at both Handley Library and Clarke County branches.

Event Details

Two health screenings provided by the Sinclair Health Clinic.

Thursday April 4th at the Bowman Library location

Thursday April 25th at the Handley Library location

Both screenings will run from 10 a.m to 4 p.m.

Free screening services will include:blood pressure, blood glucose, body mass index and health education.

A cholesterol test is available for a fee. 

Services are provided to those 18 years of age and over.

Additionally representatives from Child Care Aware Virginia will be present to explain their services.
