Important Announcement: Bowman Library Renovations

Bowman Library will be installing new carpeting from January 12–23. During this time, some services will be limited:

  • Printing will be limited
  • Only laptop computers will be available
  • Study rooms will be unavailable
  • Access to many adult materials will be limited
  • Faxing and scanning will be unavailable

These services will still be available at both Handley Library and Clarke County branches.

Friends Members Only Event-Handley Library After Hours

Event Details

The Friends of Handley Regional Library System will host this members-only event. Meet author Peter Stark, who has written Gallop Toward the Sun, Young Washington and Astoria. Members can participate in our silent auction, featuring a gift basket from Kimberly's, a swag bag from The Library Shop, and a stained glass piece by artist Karen Storm. The piece is a replica of a medallion in the iconic stained glass dome at Handley Library. Enjoy light refreshments and a wine tasting, all while wandering the West Reading Room.
