The Handley Library, Handley 100th, and Winchester Book Gallery will co-host a Fireside Chat with New York Times bestselling author and Handley Alum Andrew Joseph White. Book signing by the author will follow the presentation courtesy of the Winchester Book Gallery.

Andrew graduated from John Handley High School in 2016 and received his MFA in Creative Writing from George Mason University in 2022. Andrew writes about trans folks with claws and fangs, and what happens when they bite back. His debut young adult novel, Hell Followed With Us, was published in 2022. His second young adult novel, The Spirit Bares Its Teeth, is a Stonewall Honor Book. Another young adult book will be available in September this year, while his first novel for adults will be released in 2025.
