Program Description

Event Details

Preparing for college life is exciting, but it can also be overwhelming and a little bit scary. Get advice from the experts, college students who have just lived through it, about the do’s and don’ts of your freshman year.

Intended audience: college freshmen. *Registration required.

This week's topic: Home vs. School Relationships

There is no way around it; when you go away for college, your relationships with those from home will change. You may be homesick, struggling to maintain a long-distance relationship with a partner, or you may feel like you are growing apart from all of your loved ones. This session will help you anticipate and handle those changes, while helping you navigate uncertainty, grow as an individual, and become a happier, more independent young adult.
