Important Announcement: Bowman Library Renovations

Bowman Library will be installing new carpeting from January 12–23. During this time, some services will be limited:

  • Printing will be limited
  • Only laptop computers will be available
  • Study rooms will be unavailable
  • Access to many adult materials will be limited
  • Faxing and scanning will be unavailable

These services will still be available at both Handley Library and Clarke County branches.

Join us virtually on Saturday, February 20 at 11:00 a.m. as we celebrate the friendship of Mo Willems’ Elephant and Piggie.

Stop by the Bowman Library to pick up a craft kit to make your own talking Elephant and Piggie puppets.

We even provide the materials to make a “bird on your head” headpiece from Piggie and Gerald’s funny day as Ms. Donna reads the book.

Watch the puppets share a song from the musical, “We’re In a Play.”

Sing along with Ms. Cheryl as she shares some fun songs.
