A local girl scout, Abby, is doing a workshop presentation for her gold award. The project aims to bring awareness to light pollution and educate students about how it affects our environment. Learn about astronomy, wildlife, and legislation facts. Participate in fun activities such as puzzles and games for a more immersive experience. Observe bird migration patterns and constellations in the night sky to see how animals navigate using the stars.
Guest speakers include the President of Shenandoah University and the Shenandoah Astronomical Society.
