Join us in the Robinson Auditorium from 1:00-3:00p.m. for a presentation, interactive discussion, inspiring spoken word performance, and message to the youth.
Following the event, there will be a social hour from 3:00-5:00p.m. where all are welcome to connect, learn, and be a part of the conversation.
This event is presented by the Northern Shenandoah Valley Chapter of Coming to the Table. Coming to the Table (CTTT) is a national group with local groups in Maryland and Virginia. CTTT was founded by descendants of both enslavers and enslaved people who were inspired by the vision of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., who said "I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia, the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit together at the table of brotherhood."
Keep up with CTTT on Facebook and at www.comingtothetable.org.
