Important Announcement: Bowman Library Renovations

Bowman Library will be installing new carpeting from January 12–23. During this time, some services will be limited:

  • Printing will be limited
  • Only laptop computers will be available
  • Study rooms will be unavailable
  • Access to many adult materials will be limited
  • Faxing and scanning will be unavailable

These services will still be available at both Handley Library and Clarke County branches.

Celebrate the launch of the “All Together Now” Youth Summer Reading Program at Clarke County Library! Come sing and move along with the music of Marsha and the Positrons (someone will win a door prize digital album!). Get up close to a fire truck and rescue squad from John H. Enders Fire Company. Meet story book characters like Pete The Cat, Snow White, Peter Pan and many more. Register for the Youth Summer Reading Program in person at the event or online at handleyregionallibrary.beanstack.com. 

Marsha and the Positrons

Marsha and the Positrons are a Kindie (kids+indie) band specializing in fun, clever songs about science and how the world works with positive social messages!

The Washington Post calls Marsha and the Positrons "...among the Washington area's most creative and distinctive" children's musicians. This kindie (kids+indie) band always brings positive energy to the stage! Specializing in fun songs about science & how the world works with positive social messages! Sing and dance along to their "...jazz-flavored, poppy rock sound.." with songs that inspire curiosity about science and bring smiles to all ages.
