Important Announcement: Bowman Library Renovations

Bowman Library will be installing new carpeting from January 12–23. During this time, some services will be limited:

  • Printing will be limited
  • Only laptop computers will be available
  • Study rooms will be unavailable
  • Access to many adult materials will be limited
  • Faxing and scanning will be unavailable

These services will still be available at both Handley Library and Clarke County branches.

Meet local author Sarah Tollok and her new magical realism novel called Bookstories. A braided narrative of interconnected lives and stories, Bookstories is an ode to the authors, editors, publishers, librarians, booksellers, and countless others who make up the ecosystem of books. After all, it takes a world of people to bring about a world of books.

Enjoy a complimentary mocktail and play a round of "Never Have I Ever" with some of Handley Library's own librarians in this fun night out for teens and adults. Winchester Book Gallery will be on hand selling Bookstories for Sarah to sign.
