Important Announcement: Bowman Library Renovations

Bowman Library will be installing new carpeting from January 12–23. During this time, some services will be limited:

  • Printing will be limited
  • Only laptop computers will be available
  • Study rooms will be unavailable
  • Access to many adult materials will be limited
  • Faxing and scanning will be unavailable

These services will still be available at both Handley Library and Clarke County branches.

Join us for Third Thursday Book Club at 11 am at the Clarke County Library!

In May, we celebrate Star Wars Day on May the Fourth, so I thought it only appropriate that we all delve into the magical and vast world of science fiction and fantasy! So, for our May book club, everyone can choose their own science fiction or fantasy book and be ready to discuss your pick at our monthly meet-up! Science fiction and fantasy is a very broad category that covers everything from magic to time travel, dragons, futuristic and apocalyptic lit, alt history, robotics, and more! Clarke, Handley, and Bowman libraries have a large selection of these titles to choose from. Ask a librarian to help you find one that you'll love!

Even if you didn't have time to read the book, stop by for a lively discussion with fellow book lovers. We'll also be revealing next month's reading selection!
