Important Announcement: Bowman Library Renovations

Bowman Library will be installing new carpeting from January 12–23. During this time, some services will be limited:

  • Printing will be limited
  • Only laptop computers will be available
  • Study rooms will be unavailable
  • Access to many adult materials will be limited
  • Faxing and scanning will be unavailable

These services will still be available at both Handley Library and Clarke County branches.

Elnathan Starnes as Groovy Nate® brings his music and funk to Handley Library.

Groovy Nate® is a children’s entertainer, and a Teaching Artist with Wolf Trap Institute and the Kennedy Center, who creates fun and educational shows using funky grooves, exotic musical instruments, and comedy described as Sesame Street meets Parliament/Funkadelic. He is also a Grammy Nominated artist with The One Tribe Collective.  Groovy Nate's shows encourage children and adults to move, sing, and play creatively with one another.
