Important Announcement: Bowman Library Renovations

Bowman Library will be installing new carpeting from January 12–23. During this time, some services will be limited:

  • Printing will be limited
  • Only laptop computers will be available
  • Study rooms will be unavailable
  • Access to many adult materials will be limited
  • Faxing and scanning will be unavailable

These services will still be available at both Handley Library and Clarke County branches.

Do you or your child have a tablet or phone? Want to learn how to check out free library eBooks and access free, kid-friendly online services? Join us for a family friendly edition of our popular workshop on eBooks, audiobooks, and other eLibrary services. This interactive workshop is for caregivers and kids who already have their own devices. Workshop will include a basic overview of services and help getting started with the Libby and Hoopla apps. Complete a Digital Scavenger Hunt at the end to get a prize!

Free and open to the public. Please bring your [charged] phones, tablets, or Kindles plus any logins or passwords needed for installing apps. Laptops are welcome, too!
