Important Announcement: Bowman Library Renovations

Bowman Library will be installing new carpeting from January 12–23. During this time, some services will be limited:

  • Printing will be limited
  • Only laptop computers will be available
  • Study rooms will be unavailable
  • Access to many adult materials will be limited
  • Faxing and scanning will be unavailable

These services will still be available at both Handley Library and Clarke County branches.

Budgeting for Success

Anyone can make a budget but can you budget for success?

During this hands-on workshop attendees can expect to set SMART financial goals, learn effective financial habits, and create a budget to meet and exceed those set goals.

Presenter is Mary Butler. Ms. Mary Butler proudly touts five years of education and training as an educator. She earned a master's degree in Counseling and College Student Personnel from Shippensburg University. She has experiences in career services, academic coaching, and student development and a host of skills and knowledge that assist her focus for solution-focused results. Currently, she serves as an Academic Retention Specialist at Shepherd University in WV. She has spent a year learning, applying, and practicing financial knowledge and skills that can help anyone do anything they set their mind too. She has a passion for growth, learning, and achievement and believes in supporting others' growth and development.
