For many years now the Bowman Library has hosted a Game Night for the teens in our community, offering everything from Xbox gaming, to Apples to Apples, and Virtual Reality headsets. Though we're excited to offer a safe place for teens to meet once a month, we recognize the love of games many of our younger patrons have.
Last fall we attempted a Tween Game Night for the first time, and it was met with great enthusiasm. Many were asking on the way out the door when we would have the next! Today we are ready to answer that question, in duplicate.
This June and July we will host two TWEEN game nights, exclusively for youth 8 to 12 years old on the second Thursday of each month. We'll have lighthearted games on Xbox and Wii, board games will be available for those who prefer tabletop fun, and snacks for all. Participants are welcome and encouraged to bring their own games to share.
