Donations to the Archives

The Stewart Bell Jr. Archives welcomes donations of original materials, to include correspondence, diaries, business and legal records, photographs and other items that document the history of the Winchester-Frederick County area and the Lower Shenandoah Valley. Genealogical materials such as Bible records, family groups charts and family histories pertaining to individuals or families who settled in this area are also sought. Published books and periodicals, maps, newspapers, artwork and artifacts related to our collections focus may also be accepted as donations.

Donations to the Archives may be tax deductible, but please note that Archives Staff cannot provide monetary appraisals of materials offered for donation.
