Bowman Library will be installing new carpeting from January 12–23. During this time, some services will be limited:

  • Printing will be limited
  • Only laptop computers will be available
  • Study rooms will be unavailable
  • Access to many adult materials will be limited
  • Faxing and scanning will be unavailable

These services will still be available at both Handley Library and Clarke County branches.

Winchester Tales author Mike Robinson will be talking about the genesis of his popular book series and the importance of social media in its success. Mike will also share Then and Now, a new visual project that is in development.

Mike Robinson, a Winchester, Virginia resident, attended Ferrum College, George Mason University, and Shepherd University. The mission in writing the Winchester Tales book series was to try and make the stories relatable to young and old. By making them more personal to the reader, Mike hopes that the tales will mean so much more, and will be passed on to future generations.
